Public Health Foundations

An emphasis in Public Health Foundations provides training in the five core areas of public health: Biostatistics, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Management and Policy, and Social and Behavioral Health. This certificate is a great way to understand the basics of public health.

Community Health Management

Includes courses that will build a foundation in public health with a focus on its application in the field of community health. It is comprised of courses that focus on public health communication, management of healthcare systems and understanding the current trends in healthcare.

Environmental Health

Combines the disciplines of Epidemiology and Environmental Health to build a foundation in public health. It is comprised of courses that focus on major topics of environmental health, understanding zoonotic diseases, and health communication.

EMPHASIS

Food Safety

Designed for the working professional or student who wants to increase their knowledge of food safety in a public health context. The certificate combines coursework in food-borne diseases with Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Environmental Health.

HIV/AIDS

Has a flexible curriculum that allows students to select courses that will build a foundation in public health with a focus on the prevention and education about HIV/AIDS in the community.

Contains courses that will build a foundation in public health with a focus on its application in the field of veterinary medicine. This certificate can expand your job opportunities, or enhance your current degree program.
